Sometimes it will be necessary to open a joint, clean the threads, and apply the appropriate thread sealant. In some cases you may find that you need to remove and replace faulty equipment. Ensure that air supply to all equipment is shut off when that equipment is not in use; solenoid valves are available to automate that process.
